Project logs demonstrate how each student within the classroom is creating their own project of their choice. A choice-based TAB classroom allows students to follow their intuition and choose what project they are passionate about creating using a material they are interested in or enjoy using. The use of a TAB system within the art room addresses that motivation varies from student to student and creates space for students to work on what they are motivated by. Some students may be motivated to spend a large amount of time on a certain project and are provided the time to work at their own pace (reflected in students that have one project listed on the sheet). Other students may be motivated to work with their peers on practicing using a material together and are allowed to do a similar project to their friends. Some students may be more invested in working kinetically with larger sculptural materials, while others benefit from working on a painting at their table. The TAB studio approach allows students to be exploring and finding what suits them within the art classroom and can be utilized to meet the various learning needs of each student.
